into the blue

After a slow start this story got me. It was both fantastical and real, sexy and sad, and brought me into a world (acting and improv) I admittedly don’t usually care about. I exchanged a few words and some meaningful glances with a stranger at the pool who saw me reading it about the spiciness of the sex scenes, of which there are many over the 400+ pages.
